About Our School

Sweetwater Community School

Sweetwater Community School is an alternative school who offers many opportunities for our students. Our class sizes tend to be smaller with every classroom having a highly qualified teacher who is ready to provide the necessary skills and strategies students need in order to be successful.

Our mission statement reflects our main goal: "To provide alternative pathways for student success."

For students who are busy and are looking for a flexible schedule, Sweetwater also offers evening classes. The evening classes are available to high school students both in and out of our school district's boundaries. Students currently enrolled in a Paradise Valley Unified School District high school can attend night classes free of charge. Students who live outside of our district or who are not actively enrolled in a PVUSD high school will need to pay a tuition of $199.00 per class.

Sweetwater is an AdvancEd accredited high school that requires 22 credits to graduate.
